We’re the Deana-dhe. We’re the men everyone fears…

Or so we had thought.
Until the Skull Brotherhood steals the one thing more precious to us than anything else.
Cyn.
Our talented healer.
Our original sin.
Our soulmate.
To get her back we’re forced to seek the help of our enemies.
Putting aside our need for revenge for the sake of the woman we love, we work together to find her.
But when we do, she’s not the same woman.
Broken by her experience, we must find a way to heal her or lose her forever.
Cyn fixed our hearts, now it’s time we fix hers.

This book BROKE me! Yes, it put me back together but man, I wasn’t expecting it to hit me as hard as it did! I was emotional through most of it! Cyn is so damn strong! After everything she has been through in her past and then in this book…she is my book hero! I fell so hard for Carrick, Arden, and Lorcan in this book…they are so good for Cyn.

I tell myself every time I read a book by Bea that I am prepared for the emotional rollercoaster I will go on. Yeah I am nowhere ready for it lol. The journey that I have gone on with Bea has been epic. The world she has created and these beautifully flawed characters that fill the pages. You feel every happy moment, every emotional moment, and every steamy moment that Cyn and her men go through. These books are definitely not for the faint of heart but so worth the read.

There is a reason Bea Paige is one of the best RH writers out there. Of course she has the spice but what has always gripped me is the plot, the story itself. These intensely, painfully battered and bruised characters that want to be loved so badly yet they feel that they dont deserve it. Forgiveness is not easy for anyone and the way BP addressed that strikes me. Both for the Deana-dhe and The Masks. It’s true life is so unfair. And the reality is we dont have control over any of it except for how we respond to it. Anger, violence is a response, but so is love and forgiveness despite the pain of being wronged.
